Yes, It has begun. Those of you who were with me through my last pregnancy know what I am talking about. 9 months of tossing my cookies, 70 pounds later I have Jill. Now, Jill is totally worth it don't get me wrong, but have I seriously chosen to do it again? Yes, but I want to answer some questions first....
1. Am I having twins?.....NO
2. Do I have diabetes?....NO
3. Do I need to consult with a dietician?....I already did & $150 later I was told I was eating too much fruit.
4. Do I know I am fat?...Yes I absolutly do, but I can't do anything about it.
5. Am I the most pregnant person you have seen?...Possibly, but I hope the person who made this statement enjoys a lifetime of obesity, courtesy of me.
6. Have I ever thought of exercise?...Everyday since 7th grade.
7. My girlfriend is further along than you & not nearly as big....Lucky freakin you!
8. Does it hurt?...more than you know.
Why do people ask such dumb questions?
Last time I got toxemia & gained 20 lbs in the last 3 weeks, but I got comments from 4 months on. I even had a lady smack me on the butt & tell me it was getting bigger when I was still in my first trimester. I was going to post a picture of myself the day I went into labor with Jill, but I gasped when I went to pick one.(I was huge!) There is no turning back now!

You are hilarious Karen! Pregnancy may have not been too fun but at least you ended up with an easy, happy, adorable little girl!
Maybe this time round your pregnacy will be easier but you'll end up with a naughty little boy!!
Reading this was the highlight of my day. I was laughing outloud and I had to share it with my co-clerk at work. At least you know I am right there with you this time. I too got the twins question all the time with Jack! But I swear it will be better this time. It just has to be! Anyway, Thanks for the GREAT post!

yeah! it is so great that you are having a baby- congrats! Jill is so cute, so I am sure you are going to have another personality running around the house! I am glad you have a blog- it is fun to keep tabs on everyone!
Karen, you need to post more updates on your pregnancy. Just work on it a little between trips to the bathroom to "upchuck".

Hey Karen! I found ya through Emily's blog.. this is Lindsey Rosenlof.. (weird to write that last name) Christiansen. It's good to see what you're up to, your little girl is a doll. And I totally understand your pregnancy woes. I had the exact same thing. My second was 10 pounds and I gain like 60-70 pounds. I had migrant workers making elephant noises at me on the way into Jordan Commons and in one Target trip saw two different groups of people pointing and laughing at me. Awesome.
So anyway, long comment from a girl you haven't heard from in 5 years! I hope everything goes well with your new one!
